  THE LONGEST RIVER OF THE EARTH

River Nile is 6695 km from its source in Burundi, along the White Nile, to its delta on the Mediterranean Sea. it is called the father of African river.


There are two major branches of the Nile. The white Nile and the Blue Nile. This river lays in ten different countries.




In Egypt, the River Nile creates a fertile green valley across the desert. It is by the banks of the river that one of the oldest civilizations in the world started . The ancient Egyptians lived and farmed along the Nile, using the soil to produce food for themselves and their animals.
